Good Morning All,
I have a 1991 Hunter Vision 32.
I am replacing the Lexan side panels with the portals in it.
I have removed the panels. The were secured with a black adhesive/caulking. Does anybody know what product was used ?
Or suggested another "black adhesive/caulk" product that can be used ?
Thanks
Richard

dow corning 795, make sure it is still in date and it does come in colors, so black should not be a problem. Anything else is a waste of time and money.

Can be purchased through commercial glass shops much cheaper than marine chandleries.

You can also purchase it through the chandlery here and have it sent to you unless there is a local source in PV.

Ditto on these suggestions. When you clean only use alcohol as acetone will damage lexan. You may want to tape around the area where to be applied on the outside and if you use your finger to smooth out, either use spit or alcohol on the finger to keep the caulk from adhereing to your finger.
