Catalina water tank removal

1981 catalina 27. Anybody tried to remove the water tank? Mine is so nasty I need to get it out and clean or replace. It is under the port settee. I may just cut it out and put a bladder on the stb. Side next to the fuel tank under the quarter berth.

I cut two holes in mine with a hole saw and added two inspection ports on my 1987. It actually cleaned up really easy with just wet rags, once you can get your hands in there. I also replaced all my water hoses including the fill hose and vent hose as they were just as nasty. Don't forget to flush your hot water heater well as it is the only item that can't be cleaned by hand.
