Catalina Galley

Hi, I'm a new Catalina owner and am in search for a used Galley. My boat is a 1980 Catalina 22, most Catalina sailors I've met say they've thrown away their Galleys. If anyone is near north Texas and willing to part with a galley please let me know.

Have you asked why most have thrown them away? Have the boats been repurposed for racing, the space is better suited for another purpose or are the cabinets totally inadequate? The problem might be finding one near you. Consider repurposing a different cabinet better suited to your kitchen equipment and needs. Good luck.

When we owned our Catalina 22 hull #10380 we left the galley in the basement, again racing and little kids. We brought a water jug, Cooler, wet wipes and towels, bathing suits etc. to eliminate the weight of the galley.
The 22 is a Great Boat, and we may go back there someday, But all Catalinas are great well built, designed boats.
We owned our 22 for 10 years, our 25 -TRSK- #5612 for 10 years, and now our 310 for 7.
All Were/are Great Boats!
