C320 with 3-Blade
I have the 3-blade too. Many rant about drag, etc. but (as a cruiser) I frankly haven't noticed it. Having the extra push-power when maneuvering in a marina or running up the coast is nice. EVERY prop has "prop-walk" -- it's just the physics of the thing.Just make sure the diameter & pitch are properly sized to your engine & transmission. Also, lock the transmission in Reverse gear when sailing to keep the shaft from rotating. That can save you a whole lot of trouble with your transmission later. Many transmissions don't get properly lubricated unless the engine is running.
