Catalina 30 cockpit hose replacement

Both of my cockpit drain hoses were leaking. I found the marine exhaust hose that Catalina used on my boat but wanted to see if anyone has advice on fitting the new hoses in. The space is super small and the hoses only flex a little bit as the length is 18inches or so. Any advice would be great. It's a 81' with wheel steering.

Hey Guy,

I changed mine out some time ago with Polyester reinforced clear PVC tubing.
It's been working fine for 20 years now. You can pick it up at home depot type stores &
not have to $$ for Marine Grade hose. It also bends easily.

The stores by me don't carry it in 1 5/8. Do you have an 81 as well?

It was a long time ago but, I believe I got it from a Goodyear store. They carry many different types & sizes.
Call around & see if you can find your size pal or a similar type.
