Can anyone tell me the specs. dia/pitch for a 3 blade prop on a Catalina 30?

What we've got

We have a 1988 Catalina 30 with Universal M25-XP motor. Ours is a 12 X 12 three-bladed prop. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean it's correct, but it is what we have and seems to work fine. It's great under power, but does have plenty of drag under sail. Gary Kunkel

Prop

I've got the same on my 30. 12x12 with a Yanmar YSE12. 6 knots underway. Sean

Another prop.

On my C-30 is a 13x10 3 blade behind a 1998 M25XPA. I see a bit over 6 knots at 2350 RPM. That's with light seas in deep water, according to my GPS.

2 Blade prop size

Does anybody know if 13RH12P is the correct 2 blade prop size. I currently have that set-up on a 89 Cat 30 with the Universal M25XP. I am quite unhappy with its performance especially in reverse. I am planning on replacing it with a folding prop Martac or Flex-O-Fold. All of the companies I have contacted want to know the present prop size and pitch before they will suggest what folding prop to purchase.

Interesting.....

Interesting that two of you so far have 12 x 12 3 blade. I found the prop spec on a Catalina web site and they said they sell the C30 with a 3 blade 13x10. I think that's what I have on my boat and I'm bearly getting 5 - 5.5 knots at 2800 RPM (reading on my knot meter). I'm planning on having the prop reconditioned and I'll have a talk with the prop guys and see what they think.
