Iam looking at a 27 on line and need to know how much head room is in the cabin?

I'm six-two

I find that I have plenty of room where the hatch is and right along the keel. I usually keep the hatch slid forward so that I don't feel as if I am about to hit my head. As far as boats in its classthe Catalina 27 has really good head room; my head just brushes the ceiling.

Pretty roomy

My ex-beau is 6'4" & he really had no trouble hanging out on my boat on weekends. Only problem was the v-berth was a tad short for him.LaDonna

I'm not LaDonna's ex-beau, but I am 6'4", and I find the C-27 to be fine. I can stand under the hatch, and I have to just slightly tilt my head forward when I am on the centerline away from the hatch.The head is a little cramped, but how much time do you really want to spend in the head? In and out, if you're like me.Go get one - you'll love it!Rob

My '85 has plenty of headroom. Very forgiving boat. Great on inland lakes.
