Introducing "Li'l Addie"
Again, I appreciate all the great advice and input that I was given from my original post. I'll be taking delivery of my first saillboat on Monday, July 27th. Two and a half years ago, a friend asked me to go sailing with him in Galveston Bay. I had never been before and was a little anxious about the whole thing. He was test sailing a brand new 36' Beneteau. It was a moderatly windy day. A beautiful day for sailing. Needless to say, I was hooked. My wife and I took Basic ASA lessons two years ago and it's taken me this long to find "Li'l Addie". As I mentioned in an earlier post, my new granddaughter, Addilyn Grace, was born the same day I closed the deal. So, it was easy to come up with a name that fit our Catalina 22.
The Admiral and I know that we are going to have many years of great sailing together. I've posted a couple of pics of "Li'l Addie". Thanks again and you'll be hearing from me in the near future with many questions.
