Hey,I got this 1986 40 legend pretty cheap, but I need to rebuild the interior. The previous owner had intended on rebuilding, and had saved the entire cabin interior. I need to reinstall it like a puzzle. it was partially sunk and the owner steamed & removed the interior.the carpet on the walls was removed, but i can see chunks of fuzz still showing where it was glued. This was some type of carpet, right? Thats what im assuming. Well the previous owner had all kinds of things to start the project, parts, supplies, etc, and one was a roll of navy blue vinyl. Could he have been planning to use this instead of the carpet? Im trying to figure out if thats what I should use it for, or if he had some other purpose for it, which might be better suited. the upholstery and cushions are in excellent condition, so he was planning on using it for that.I have only seen pics of a 40 interior, so im kinda going from scratch, and dont wanna make too many time wasting moves. Also, im wondering at what point in the rebuild I should install the fabric wall covering? Should I make it one of the first things i do? Im thinking it probably goes behind cabinets and settee and other things, so I should probably put it in pretty soon? WHAT TYPE OF GLUE SHOULD I USE?thanks,b
