In many places money is all that is required. The charter company expects insurance to cover the rest.

I get this alot. People, usually a couple, hire me to teach them to sail. They want to learn as much as possible in a day. So far, so good. Next thing out of their mouths..." We're chartering a sailboat for a week in the BVI and want to know what we're doing." " What do we need?" I tell 'em, "A credit card with a large limit." Sigh!

You got it! I actually used that scene in my Captain Class to explain prop walk and how to take advantage of it. And showing with a RH prop you'd have to do that port to.

I gotta admit that the 99% appeal of the Capt. Crash video is the woman wearing the turquoise bikini. I watched Rick Moore's other videos until it seemed kinda like porn - fun to do but boring to watch. My question is: How does that guy get so many attractive young women aboard?

I've been to some clothing optional beaches in the Carib. A word of caution....be careful what you wish for.
