Join a club
Hey Don, What about a club that does some cruising. You don't have to go with them every time! It sounds like you enjoyed the time when those boats snuck into your cove. Wouldn't it be better if you knew those people? Cookouts with good food and good company. A few adult beverages... Well maybe more than a few, but who's driving? As for me, there's nothing better that watching the sun come up over Edgatown harbor, Martha's Vineyard, with a good cup of coffee and a fine cigar! Just one of those days a year would make it all worth while. We just roll with the flow on our vacation cruises, Bring lots of food, make sure the credit cards have zero ballances, bring cash, and do whatever it takes to have fun! And at the end you'll look back and say Mission Accomplished! This was our first year with the boat, we were out 14 days, I've never had a better vacation in my life. Good luck, Chris
