3 blade
I changed my stock 2 blade to a cambell 3 blade about a year or so ago. The three blade is much smoother than the two, seems to stop and back a little better. I'm not sure if its slowed me down sailing or not.The reccomendation from Cambell turned out to not have enough pitch so I had to return the prop and get one with more pitch. This cost me some dollars as Im in Houston and they are in Canada. I did not get a full refund for the first prop either since it was on my boat for one week. At least the Diver made some money that month. I would have liked to seen a full refund on the first prop since they assured me it would be the right prop for my boat. I could turn 3600 plus rpms with the reccomended prop and still not achieve hull speed. The prop I did end up with allows me to turn about 3300 rpms and allows for better motoring at about 2800 rpms. The original 2 blade I could turn at 3600 plus rpms also. My boat is a 94 model 33.5 with the 3GM 27 hp yanmar. Same as your 336. Moral to the story, pick your prop carefully, and Cambell may not know best.
