Ken, I guess if I were making that decision and all else were about equal, I'd go with the 7P with its 3300 max RPM. It is only 100 or so lower than max rating (3400-3450?) for the 2GM. What do you cruise at . . somewhere around 2600?

I have the same engine in my Crown 28, but a weird tranny (2.36:1). I started with a 14x8 but that was too steep - I went down to a 13x7.5 and it's perfect. BTW: I have the nearly-new 14x8 for sale - interested?

Do you still have your CS 14x8 prop for sale?

I've got a 14.5x8.5 cambell . I've got no complaints , but I have nothing to compare it to.
Now you have me wondering if things could be better

John, if you can run at a good RPM and can sail well - No worries! Things could be better but it'll take $$$ to do it. If I had the money and easy facilities for maintenance, I'd probably use a nice feathering prop.

Where did you order your Campbell Sailor prop? I cannot find Campbell site to order.

Thanks
