C28-mkII galley sink problem

While I was flushing my water system after launching this spring a new (to me) problem arose - one or both of the taps on the galley sink stopped working properly. That is, as long as the water pump was on, water came out of the faucet (still does!). I have tried to take the taps off, but it is not clear how to do this - there is a cap that, when removed, gives access to what should be a screw of some kind to remove the tap. But it is so deep inside I cannot see what to use ... I have tried all my Allen keys and jeweller's screwdrivers, but nothing works. Has anyone taken the facet assembly apart? Or do you need to buy the entire new faucet system?

I thought I remembered it as a regular type hose bib or faucet screw for a 3/16 or 1/4 inch driver, I pulled up a page with replacement valves but it doesn't show the screws. These pages show a screw but not the head.

Has anyone replaced the entire faucet assembly? Is it as straightforward as it looks?

Hey djamied - did you ever find a way to get the handle off? Is it a standard replacement washer? I have the same issue with my 28 MK II Grohe faucet. Thanks.
