C-30 Folding Prop

I have a 1988 c-30 (m25xp engine) and I am interested in upgrading the prop to a folding or feathering prop. Does anyone have any good or bad experiences, recommendations. Max-prop seems like the best prop, though very expensive.Thanks,Jim

MARTEC

I think it depends on boat use. If you intend racing a MARTEC is not very expensive and works fine. I picked up a little vibration, and of course it takes a little practice backing up. I've had my propo for about six years and had it overhauled at the four year point. I thinb if I were just cruising I put a three blade feathering on. Less vibration. There are four or five racers in my area and we all use martec.

Jim; I used to have an '82 C-30 with the 5411 diesel and a Martech folding prop I was very satisfied with.
