Hi. Happy new year!
My wife and I are thinking about buying a 1988 Pearson 37 we currently have a Pearson 303. The 37 was made with two different interiors. The one we are looking at has the center line queen foward berth. It also has the 4'8" wing keel and the Yanmar 3HM-35F has 1364 hours on it. Is that alot of hours? Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with this model?

Thanks

We have a 1987 P-36 centerboard, also with a Yanmar 3HM 35F. In the past eighteen years we have sailed (and motored) our boat from Annapolis to Galveston by way of the Keys, back to the Chesapeake by way of the Bahamas and several sails to New England and to Maine and back two times. I estimate that we have over 5000 hours on the little Yanmar and it is still going strong.

The p-36, 37 and 38 all shared the same hull and deck molds, keels and rigs with the exception of the extended stern for the sugar scoop and slight modifications to the interior.
