I have a 2002 H-356 with the original UK sails. Today while sailing in 18kt winds, the mail sail clew blew out and set the sail a flapping.Specifically, the three web straps that attach the main sail clew block wheel to the outhaul line ripped apart - all three.I have a furling main sail and these straps are exposed to the sun for 6 months a year. Is it common for these to give out after four years on the water? Is there an "emergency method" to attach the outhaul after all straps break like this? Thanks Dave
