Don the signal that activates the alarm can also

be used to actuate a relay to sound an alarm horn, turn on lights and anything else you want. It is all electricity 101.

Ross, I know my rights...

..even in the Left State of California you are allow to shoot and kill anyone entering your home, period. The fact that someone breaks and enters your house is considered an emminent threat to you and your family's life and no DA will prosecute for this. As to entering a boat that you live in...I have no idea. And your right about the punishment for death....specially if it is your own life you loose as a result of not defending yourself. abe...be free to transfer this to political section phil.

Abe, they may not prosecute but your legal bills

will rock your boat. Don't even think about using deadly force unless you have you lawyer on your speed dial.

Rick W...

As a teenager, I had an uncle who liked to play practical jokes. Upon visiting a fireworks factory I found the perfect "get-even". I can't remember what it was called, but it had two wires, one to attach to power and the other to ground. It would set off a loud whistle, produce prodigious smoke and end with a loud bang. Attached to the low voltage side of the ignition coil of my uncle's brand new car, it more than got even for all his indescretions! I don't know how a glow plug could be used to set off a a flare's scratch cap, but it worked wonders on any match-lit fuse!

Dan, someday you and Dobbs and I need to get

together and discuss our neferious youth. A teaspoon full of black gunpowder in a full ash tray is always good for a few laughs.

I Remember Those Dan

Along with the charges that slip into a cigarette. We had a LT at Wright-Pat whose wife would not let him smoke and so was alway bumming smokes off of the airman. I bought a pack of them and passed them around and told them to make sure the LT got one he started buying his own then.

Cigars...

Rick, if I remember right, they were like little pine wood splints. We used one of those on a buddy's dad once. Blew the end of Cuban out and scared the crap out of him--my buddy couldn't sit down for a week afterward!

Hey Ross...

Once the weather breaks I'll track you down for a trip over to see Tidewater's new facilities, or at least a proper exchange of "ideas" at the Rendesvous. Dobbs needs to do some work for me this spring. I didn't know he had an "elightened" youth. We'll have to have a discussion on such matters. He grew up where I live now, which is hardly an area heart of misbehavior. LOL!
