I have a 88C30 and today I broke my exhaust Y where the cooling water enters the exhaust pipe just above the lift muffler. When I removed it I found a clean break right where the water gos in above the Y It looks like this was welded and just broke at the weld. Do you guys think this is cast or steel? Do you think it is somethind that should be welded or replaced? Where would I get a new pipe ? Catalina, Univs dsl, Kabota ???? The next thing is that there is a elbow that threads on the other end of the pipe and then gos into the end of the manifold and some how the threaded end of the elbow just pulled out of the flange on the manifold wich was a real good thing for geting it off but I dont think Its going In that way and It looks like the elbow is rusted on the pipe.I was thinking of mairne texing the elbow to the flange then bolting it on the manifold .Well what do you think .I have a four day weekend comeing up and I would like to fix this but there is agood chance I wont have the parts by friday . Im in the north east and there is only about six weeks befor Im out of the water I hate to loose good boating time . thanks for the help in advace John Olson
