AMP is funny like that. Likely because their tools are used in "certified" applications and unless you are a certified repair/recalibration facility they won't likely sell you parts directly. Two weeks is not a bad turn around. That is a gold standard tool!! I lost mine but would kill to have it back. The FTZ is a close knock off but the AMP is, well, AMP.......TE Connectivity says it has to come back to them - not a part they sell outright. I've got the whole inside of the boat ripped apart to relocate my house bank and have four crimps left to finish - they said they can turn it around in 2 weeks![]()
