First Google your tool part number. Look for a PDF document for an exploded assembly diagram with part numbers (at the end of a manual for the tool). Locate the parts you need to replace.

Then Google those replacement parts. I looked in a Newark Electronics catalog online, but I'm sure there are other places to locate parts.
....that's my method anyway.

No you can't you must send it to me for examination and I will then take care of disposal...:D:D

Just contact AMP/TE Connectivity and they can get you the part...

TE Connectivity says it has to come back to them - not a part they sell outright. I've got the whole inside of the boat ripped apart to relocate my house bank and have four crimps left to finish - they said they can turn it around in 2 weeks :(

AMP is funny like that. Likely because their tools are used in "certified" applications and unless you are a certified repair/recalibration facility they won't likely sell you parts directly. Two weeks is not a bad turn around. That is a gold standard tool!! I lost mine but would kill to have it back. The FTZ is a close knock off but the AMP is, well, AMP.......;)

I'm having a local shop fab a piece today so I can finish my four crimps, then send it off to the factory.
