Is there a place to find a replacement anchor bow roller?
You can fix what you have got. There are a couple of threads about upgrading the H37C bow roller too. If you feel like removing that bow plate, a good stainless welder could make that like new. Otherwise, bolt some new cheeks on the old ones, as detailed here and here.

Like Ed S. said, there is a lot of info here on the site...but we don't mind ya askin! ;)

Jim, the idea here is to have the new "cheeks" pull the mangled old stuff into place and add a front roller?

Yes. The old roller was never really big or long enough IMO. You can probably straighten the existing roller enough to bolt some bigger, thicker sides on, as shown in Bob Milller's photos. Or take the whole thing off and have a welder rebuild it (it is a bit of a squeeze to get at all the nuts up in the bow...).

It is important that the tang that the forestay attaches to is in good shape too...for obvious reasons. I don't think a replacement bow roller/forestay chainplate assembly is available anywhere, so rebuilding is really the only option...

Look at that picture- is there only suppose to be the three screw heads? Or is one broke off?

It looks like there should be 4 screws - I'll check mine and get back to you.

Please do Jim I don't see a fourth from inside the boat up at the bow...

7 screws total

There are 3 screws on the top plate (no 4th screw as there appears to be in your photo...) and 4 screws on the strap that runs down the bow. At least that's the way it is on my '83. As you can see, my bow roller had a run-in with a dock many moons ago and the rollers themselves were replaced with custom-made bronze ones. The anchor was moved aside for the photo session...Hope this helps.

a LOT of boats only have a single roller and work fine that way, but there are also a Lot of owners who wish their boat had a double anchor roller at the bow.

a double roller is not a necessity, but is very desirable and useful for those that want to run two anchors at once... OR, want to have have two different style anchors hanging and ready to deploy, depending on what type of bottom it needs to hook in to....
