Boat inspection tip P39.2

We are moving forward with our fist boat purchase. Test sail, Inspection, and purchase this week of a 39' Pearson 39'2". Any advice?

Known as a P39-2, not 39'2". It is the model number... second generation of the 39. She is a great boat. Is it a shoal keel with centerboard? If so, check the movement of the board. Friends boat has had some problems with the lower sheeves. Also, with moisture meter, pay special attention to the jib tracks on the deck.
