They are in fact the Sport-a Seats mentioned above. The striped covers are actually slip covers I made from beach towels (wash and wear easy!). These seats are fantastic and you can buy little lumbar pillows that attach to them. We've had ours for years. The bottom of our bench cushions are made of that rubberized mesh that allow them to drain / dry if wet and I would say that adds some traction to prevent them from blowing away. We put them below if we are dealing with bad conditions, etc. With a bimini and dodger and the fact that top speed is about 6-7 knots, winds inside the cockpit strong enough to lift the cushions has not been an issue.

Hope that helps!

Another vote for Sport-a-Seats; my wife (who is not a fan of buying toys for the boat) LOVES them. Much more comfortable than plain seat cushions, durable, and convenient. The genuine Sport-a-Seat is more expensive than the West Marine version, but I think they are worth the money. The cushioning is more lush, and the metal frame is more robust. I use them all year, as they are great for taking to sporting events where the stands are just aluminum benches (football games, swim meets, etc.). And they are perfect for taking out to the foredeck or cabin top when the boat is at anchor.

One quick word of caution...

..if they do not say "Sport-a-Seat" on the label... DO NOT BUY IT!!!

There are many cheap imitations (West Marine) that will disappoint you. Buy the original... buy the best!

...and you can get them in the SBO site.

Here it is the 5th of January of a new year and we have yet to see a picture of the 2011 suites. We need a bone here.

Damn...

...your RIGHT!!

(Sorry... Boat Babe is out of action until the refit is complete... you'll have to settle
for "Ski-Bunny Babe", and "Couch Potato Babe"!)

;)

OK BB! Enough of this no BB photos. We up here in the frozen north of Michigan must have a sun tanned body fix or we will take desperate measures. The boat is in the cradle, the lake is frozen and snow covered so please take pity on us poor, poor Yankees....

Boat Babe

While Mike4116 is up in the frozen North of Michigan I on the other hand am sweating like a fat boy at a free dance under the clear blue skies and baking sun of Pearl Harbor, HI today. What I could use is a picture of the BB which will cause a shiver down my spine.

Were all the blogs from Brian and Stephs sailing trips lost during SBO upgrades? Tried to refer a new 25.5 owner to their boat pics but my old links are dead. Bummer.

Hope the refit of the boat is going well. Spring is only a few weeks away down here.

Thanks Scott. Glad they are still around. It'd been a long time since I checked my old links and they're still the best sailing blogs I've seen on SBO. Everybody checking in here obviously holds out hope for more exploits from these two(or others). Nothing beats a good sailing photo blog on a blustery day.

I don't post much, but admit to being an avid Boat Babe follower. While waiting for more from Steph, you might appreciate a look at another classy lady. Taru and Alex have a great blog and are nearing the Caribbean after 20 something days crossing the Atlantic.

Thanks RTB

Enjoyed following Alex and Taru's blog, lots to learn. I didn't think bonito fish were abundant in Sardania, and fishing off a sailboat really looks like fun.

I have caught a bonito on the Gulf of Mexico. It didn't look like that, but Dodge has it right....

The chef is amazing...

Preparing a dish like this aboard a sailboat is admirable, beats my chips & dip. Read their blog, so much to see and learn.
