Boat Babe, I have to say you have been my inspiration to ditch my old bathing suits and go out and buy nothing but bikini's for hubby. What more could a man want besides a boat?..... a beautiful woman that loves boats and the sea! You keep our boys happy here!! B/Seadance

Seadance, you must take hubby to the

family doctor and make sure that he is in good enough health for you to be wearing a bikini. Steph says that Brian seems to loose his concentration some of the time. You can't risk that, he might sail the boat up onto the beach or something. ;) ;)

Brian, And what WERE you watching

watching when that happened? ;D Edit to add: WHAT were you watching? what were YOU watching? Isn't interesting what happens to a question when you change the emphasis on the words?

Congratulations, Brian, you have mastered the art

of anchoring aground. This is a classic example of this advanced technique, and not mastered by many. This technique provides a safe and nearly motionless anchoring. It brings new meaning the the term "quiet anchorage". As an additional benefit, this technique promises that nobody will swing into you during the night. All mariners normally keep quite a distance when they see you deploy this method, and of course you will not be doing any swinging yourself. My power squadron has given awards for this creative anchoring.

you need a deeper mooring...

Brian, Looks like you need a deeper mooring for Empty Pockets. That picture was taken at HIGH tide right??? Mooring like this make for easy bottom scrubbing though. Hope things are going well. C'mon guys

Empty Pocket is heeled at an angle so the Solar Stik gets maximum sun exposure. :)

So that's how they adjust it.

do they have to shift ballast fore and aft for sunrire and sunset? ;)

Ahh, Brians distraction in Pelican bay

I've been there myself and know that a captain has to keep his mind on the task at hand when anchoring there. If I recall the story correctly, it was a "Real mans" depth finder issue. Brian has proven to be a true nuts and bolts expert but I fear his "depth gauge" may be too complex in its display for one man to decipher. It also takes a humble man to post(with pics no less) such a navigational short fall. Here's their now famous anchoring tale in detail. We've all been distracted by their exploits ever since the begining. Keep tweakin' the eqt my friend but keep your eyes on the "rode". http://www.sailboatowners.com/upload/display.tpl?folder=73245517131&fno=17 Thanks to you both for(sharing) the memories and distractions. Aloha, Michael and Kelli
