My 1979 had about 50 to 75 cosmetic blisters. These were about the size of a pencil eraser and contained no moisture. They were not even detectable I until I decided to take off all the anti-fouling and barrier coat her. Still I dremeled and filled them before applying five coats of Interlux 2000E.The consensus when I was doing this work in April 2000 was that I was wasting time and money. The thinking was it would not worsen. But I wanted peace of mind. And it is a fresh water boat that I plan to eventually sail in salt water.I have been watching this board and reading everything about the H37C since 1998. I have seen very little written about blister problems on any of the Cherubinis.
Scot and Ed; Thanks for your replies, much appriciated. I have a Newport with some minor blistering and wanted to know if this is a problem with the 37 cutters which I'm interested in moving up to. Apparrantly not a major problem. Thanks.
saturday overnighting. Stop on by if you want to check out Celebration, blue on white with killer stern rail seats. It might be sort of a raft up zoo but if you can find the boat, give a shout.
