I'm looking at hunter 37 cutters. Does anyone have expierence with blister on this model and what they did to aliviate the problem.

My '79 had some.
My 1979 had about 50 to 75 cosmetic blisters. These were about the size of a pencil eraser and contained no moisture. They were not even detectable I until I decided to take off all the anti-fouling and barrier coat her. Still I dremeled and filled them before applying five coats of Interlux 2000E. The consensus when I was doing this work in April 2000 was that I was wasting time and money. The thinking was it would not worsen. But I wanted peace of mind. And it is a fresh water boat that I plan to eventually sail in salt water. I have been watching this board and reading everything about the H37C since 1998. I have seen very little written about blister problems on any of the Cherubinis.

Scot and Ed; Thanks for your replies, much appriciated. I have a Newport with some minor blistering and wanted to know if this is a problem with the 37 cutters which I'm interested in moving up to. Apparrantly not a major problem. Thanks.
