Does anyone have any resources for Bimini frames? My '85 TR has one that is a little too short. It's OK to sit under, but has very little headroom.

Check the West Marine catalog or go on line. They have an excellent line of install it yourself biminis and hardware.

custom frame

When I added a bimini to my C27 (10 years ago) the North sail loft in Buford, GA, made a frame and cover to my specifications. I no longer have that boat, but North just might remember the situation. They commented at the time that they liked the design and would incorporate it into their program. The bimini was tall enough for me (~5'8") to stand under and covered the cockpit from the main sheet (aft) to over the open cabin hatch. The only down side was sacrificed ease of cockpit egress and the need to adjust the topping lift each time the main went up or down. I loved it.

check with www.gencomarine.com - the guy they use for their ss bending can do it cheaper than most. He made mine but I can't find his number or link at the moment.
