Patton was a nut alright. BTW, Patton's hobbies were shooting, riding, playing polo and believe it or not sailing. He had a moderate sized yacht that he sailed on the east coast and another that he used to sail to Hawaii in 1935 or so when he was stationed there. From soemwhere.

I had reported earlier that Jimmy BUffett owned a Hinckley Day Sailer. It's reported today on www.buffettnews.com that it is now for sale: Jimmy Buffett's Hinckley DS42 sailboat is currently for sale at YachtWorld.com. The 42' foot long sailboat was built in 2004 and Jimmy took delivery of it in 2005. It was designed by naval architect Bruce King. The asking price is $875,000.00 and it is located at Shelter Island, NY. For more infomation on the Hinckley DS42 visit HinckleyYachts.com. It's all yours for the taking. Sorry...I can't afford it!
