I own a Javelin of about 1977 vintage. I leave the boat docked at a lake about 100 miles from home and only get to the boat a couple times a month. The boat is not covered. Recently I went out to sail after a couple weeks of rain and found the cockpit swamped. Had no problem pumping the cockpit out. Then I took off and the boat handled heavy. I realized then that water must have come up over the hole for the front hatch and went into the hull. So, I pulled the boat out of the water and pulled the little drain plug in the lower stern and lots of water came out of there. I then opened a large round port in the floor of the cockpit and found more water there and pumped it out. I am now wondering if there is any other places that may still contain water in the hull. So, here is my question for anyone who can help. How can I be sure I got all the water out of the bilge of my Javelin? Thank You, Mark
