I would like to enter this name in the contest. It's easy to say over the radio and self descriptive. Thanks

Pirate Girl

Our past two boats were named Sunday Girl. Our newest boat is a Cheoy Lee, which was made in China. There was a famous "Lady Pirate" in the 1800s, also from china, who had one of the largest fleets of the time. So, as a combination of the two previous boats, a tribute to our newest boat's lineage, we came up with our name. I couldn't imagine having named the boat anything else. Naming a boat is worth the time to research -- don't just go with your first goofy instinct. And whatever you do, never, NEVER name it after your wife. That always seems to be a jinx on both the marriage and the boat. Just my two cents....

Blow Me!

This is the name of an old '73 Johnson boatworks X-scow that I picked up and recently reconditioned. Always joked about seeing a sailboat with that name on it. So since this wasn't my main boat, the name had to be used.

Feije

Was the first name of a distantly related Dutch uncle of mine who was the captain of a clipper ship named the Baltimore that he sailed into San Francisco 'Harbour' in 1852. Through some research that I did on the internet, I discovered that I share his birthday. And that my grandfather and he were both born on the same island, Schiermonnikoog in the North Sea. I just thought it would be nice to have his name back on the Bay after 151 years.
