Interesting. This gives Bene a line of smaller, trailerable racer/cruisers. I wonder how and where they will be marketed. I would love to sail that 27.

And build capabilities in a lower-labor-cost market. The first 260 is a great boat but I’d trade it for a SSC27 in a second. The deal might help give them a foothold in the USA. Beni is now in control of the company. Hard to see how that allows them to be automonious. France says jump, Sapeascape says how high. But overall I like the deal.

Yeah, 60% seems a controlling interest even if they get no say. But we will see how long that lasts. How will they market it, as a BS 27?

Indeed. They own over 50% of the company. They get final call on all decisions. That’s just the way business works.

That is what I would guess will happen... lay down with the lion...
Makes me wonder why... what does Seacape get out of this except a cashout?
