Love me my CZ. (Not really a true CZ and doesn't count as a spinnaker so I can't race with it)
Perfect for the light early afternoons. Then just roll it up and sail with the jib when the sea breeze kicks in or sail fast downwind.
No, I don't keep it up all the time (and I regret it often when I don't take the 10-15 minutes to rig it - it's on a colligo top-down furler)
Here's doing about 5.5 knots upwind in 7 knots of wind. Note the calm water and still the boat is heeled nicely and main telltales are streaming from the apparent wind.
Not as fast as the spin down wind but much much more forgiving.
