Look's really good, how did you do it?
two passes with 3M rubbing compound using a 6" orbital buffer and then hand apply Starbrite PTFE liquid wax polish, let it dry, and remove with the orbital..

i tried to use 3m finesse but for some reason it made the gelcoat hazy and not mirror like no matter how i applied and then removed..

i won't be able to polish the waterline stripe like this again, i had two tiny spots where if you look closely you can see that the paint is too thin to survive another compounding..

i will say this.. it is an incredible amount of work to return the hull to showroom like this.. i'm going to be really diligent in waxing so i won't have to do this again for a long time..

Did you have to tape off for the different colors? How did you handle that?

just went right over the different colors.. no problem.. just stayed away from the ablative, that makes the pad turn black in an instant.. remove the pad and rinse it off if that happens.
