removehtml]I seem to recall a discussion not too long ago in which some folks on the forum shared their personal experiences with various brands/types of battery desulfating devices. Alas, I can't find those little tidbits of knowledge in the archives (not sure why, wasn't that long ago, must not be using the correct keywords). Could those of you with enough experience to offer recommendations please repost? Thanks MikeError: Error: expected [/URL], but found [/removehtml] instead[/removehtml]

Automotic with the right charger.

Mike: If you have the correct charger for your batteries it will automatically do it on a pre-determined cycle to optimize the life of your batteries. The Xantrex chargers have this logic built in. I am sure that most of the "smart" chargers will also do this.

Thanks, Ruedi

That's the one I was thinking about. Steve, I've got the system in question on a top-of-the-line Xantrex charger/inverter system. Unfortunately, it cannot make power from thin air, and the generator/solar system tanked when I wasn't there to address it (system is not on my boat, but in a remote location in central Alaska). Repeated recharging/floating cycles have failed to recover the battery bank, so I think I might look into the pulser before I scrap $2000 worth of AGMs.
