Which battery is for the engine andwhich for the electronics. There isone in the engine compartment andanother hidden in the aft cabin nextto the port wall.
Waldo; The battery in the engine compartment is the start battery. The one in the lazzarette is the house battery. They are operated by the switches in the aft stateroom.
Wally, I mean Waldo, certainly hope you have more than 2 batteries on that 393. We only have a Catalina 36, but have two huge battery banks and can stay out for a week with refrig going. Also have an inverter to run microwave, coffee pot, etc.You know who I am.G, F-dock
Waldo,I own a 2002 model 393 and had to order a 3rd battery with load distributor as an option. It was well worth it as it gives alot more energy for running things. Otherwise I believe the 393 comes standard with 2 batteries only. You may want to think of adding another for long cruises.
