I am replacing batteries on my catalina 320 I replaced them several years ago and can't remember that I need ( boat is four hours from my home ) I think I need 4D or 8 D deep cycle I purchaed Interstate Batteries las time.
Mike, did you know there is a local fleet of Catalina 320s. It is newly formed and I just joined myself. There are around 10 boats in the fleet and their home ports range from New Bern to Washington. I have a 310 and I had my batteries replaced with 4 12 volt golf batteries. There was no way that I could lift the 2D's. At least now when they go bad I can get them out.
Mike, I replaced mine in Sept. 2003 after the factory charger "cooked" my original batteries. I should have caught it earlier when I found the water level low and didn't investigate why. I was able to purchase my batteries from a local Interstate warehouse. At that time they charged me $ 120.95 ea. Larry lpauto@earthlink.net
