Batten down the hatches!

Good Day all!
We are looking for a stern hatch cover for our cockpit. They seem to be difficult to find. Also some of the interior cabinetry has been removed or remodeled and I'd like to find original wood cabinetry. If anyone out there can help please let us know:cry:

Sounds like you are looking for companionway boards. The old ones probably got weathered and warped and were tossed. Shouldn't be hard to find ship-lapped boards that can be cut to fit. Just remember that the the bottom edge of the top board should overlap the top edge of the board below it, so that rain, etc., runs down and not in.
