My anchor locker has two hinges. The axle in one of them (lower one in picture) fell out. Anyone know where I can get a new one? How about info on the size, type, so I can order a new one? Not the worst problem to have, though an odd one.

You will need to improvise a new pin, or get a new hinge. Probably easier to get a new hinge. The pin would need to be stainless steel. Take off the old hinge and see if there is a brand or marking and measure the length and width. Im sure there is a suitable substitute. Hinges are pretty standard. Amazon and ebay have tons of stuff like that. Since its a Bene its probably a metric size.
Call or email Ward Richardson at Beneteau in SC and request a new hinge. Have the model, year, hinge measurements, screw locations, & photo available. He can hopefully provide a match or close substitute & part number, then you can order & pay for it through your closest dealer. The part will be shipped to you. It appears to be a common hinge on Beneteau anchor lockers; mine appears to be same. I doubt that your local hardware store will have quality hinges in 316 SS.

I checked on the Beneteau spare parts site and found four hinges that may be the replacement for yours. Again, I suggest that you contact Ward Richardson ( W.Richardson@beneteau.com) for assistance. Have all of the pertinent info available for him. I forget the protocol for establishing an account; however, select a Beneteau dealer that you want to do business with, tell Ward that you want to establish an account & access to the spare parts site. He will coordinate between dealer & his operation to provide log on credentials. He will give you a part number, you order & pay the dealer. Your part is shipped from Ward in SC & receive it in approximately one week. Somewhat cumbersome, but the Beneteau site was hacked a few years ago & created lots of havoc. The system was changed to present set up for enhanced security; you can no longer order directly from SC. At least, we still have access to the parts catalog, on line, & have a means of ordering parts that are unique to our boat. Good luck!

I believe I have narrowed my Beneteau search to one hinge. It appears in the 351 anchor locker as well as my 343.
Part 001564, SS Hinge, 60 x 50mm, Cost $14.02 (+ tax & shipping). Best to verify with Ward.
They look to me like they could be common SS piano hinge. That is what is used on my Catalina and I have a 24" piece and cut to fit the needed length.
