I have used the furler a few more times and am getting a better feel for how much to play the continuous line - sheet tension - point of sail factors to get a nice deployment and douse. I added two cleats to secure both “sides” of the continuous line to help control things. I have yet to decide how best to keep tension in the continuous line. To date I have just used a removable sheave block to keep it taught, the downside is I have very few places I can tie off to so I have a length of rope going all the way aft to the dock cleat. I’ve got all winter to model that little problem out!!
