Went out solo yesterday! Didn't have to get within 16 feet of anyone when going to and from the boat. What a blast - sailing with first reef in and partially fulled genny. Apparent wind up to 28 knots. Average speed over a 3.5 hour sail 8.1 knots after hoisting sails and clearing the bridge. Max speed over 9 knots (and yes, my log is calibrated to SOG at slack water so should be pretty accurate) Best solo day sail ever. Probably over canvassed and heeled over too much but what a ride! Not sure the 9+ was when these pictures where taken though since I'm did not have her on her feet.

Well, it's Wednesday again and I'm still isolated,. ao here's one more of Tehani Taken on Matagorda bay
I will have a boat on ~Monday next week when the paperwork is all signed off. I also have a slip lined up in Redwood City, CA. Hopefully I will be able to get the boat out there by mid June.
The unfortunate results of this years ongoing issues hopefully we can start soon though
