Links o Plenty for Paul
Paul, here is the link for many sailing clubs in Texas. It is found on the sailtexas.com website. Please don't take offense (or be offensive) but sometime the Northeastern sailor can be very snobby about sailing outside of the famed east coast and Florida (where all of them migrate to for retirement) People in Boston and NY would be AMAZED at three things:First, there's a whole new world west of the 13 colonies and its BIG-bigger than Dallas as they say. So Y'ALL don't be messin' with TexasSecond, there is a whole lot of sailing west of the colonies (besides the Great Lakes), a lot of it in Texas, and its not all just on the coast. As mentioned in other post-Valiant Yachts of offshore passages? Lake Texoma! Finally, those of us in those areas that sail, sail with a LOT of passion! Yes, we've sailed on the C'peake, BVI, and coastal Florida-but we love to sail! So whether it be lakes, rivers, or even mud holes-we love to sail.Don't mess with Texas, and you can have my boat when you pry my cold dead hands off the tiller! Yee Ha
