Which correct fitting

Actually with the correct fittings you could have both. I don't like the current drain valve anyway, very difficult to attach a drain hose fitting to because of interference with the EX input fitting from engine, or is that the return, I'm not sure it makes a difference.

What fitting are you talking about, I am intrigued? My drain kind of sucks anyway. The one time I tried to hook a hose to it to drain to the bilge, it leaked like crazy anyway. Adding the anode that way might make more sense.

I think a 1/2" nipple with a tee would do it. Face the tee down and connect the drain valve to it and plug the strait end with the anode. You would have to play around with some fittings, and cobble up something.
