Anchorage magnet...

I'd dink over to listen to the bagpipes at sunset. Having done most of my cruising on Eastern LI I have no expectation of empty anchorages or of "Social distancing" or even of safe distancing. Most powerboats are day trippers and go home at four leaving a lot more room. But I'm speaking of primarily weekends. Mid week is much better. I like seeing other boats especially if they are from out of our area or interesting craft. One of my favorite places was Newport where you could see lots of nautical bling. Then it was always nice to go to Jamestown to chill out. I'm not really into that Wilderness experience. Different strokes.
I was going to say that. I actually like the sound of bagpipes, if they're at least a half mile away. Any closer and I'll be out of there.Bagpipes facing the sun at sunset!
