I have a 1988 MK II Cat 30 TRBS. Looking to beef up my anchor roller, and make the rollers wider. Has anyone done this in the past? Did archive search and couldn't find anything. Thanks.

I also have an 88 C30 tr/bs. I have a 35lb CQR and bought the URM-1 bow roller/mount at WM. It is mounted at an angle on the starboard side of the bow sprit. I like the setup because the anchor is always ready to go.Hayden WatsonS/V Papillon1988 C30 tr/bsSpokane, WA

Kingsprit

Hi Art -I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but you might take a look at Kingsprits (see Related link below). I added one to my Catalina 36 and hung a 44lb. Bruce on there permanently with no problems. It bolted right to the bow with no real modification necessary. In fact, I still used the teeny stock roller to rest the shank on and the pin held the Bruce in place (after drilling hole in shank).Just an option to consider.Trevor

Hi Art -I put together a basic web page a while ago showing my windlass installation and battery setup, but you should be able to make out the "Kingsprit" in a few photos as well. The bail in the photo swivels.Hope this helps,Trevor
