Realizing that few will travel far to reach a hurricane hole and most of the locals know all about what I can list, should anyone want hurricane hole info from a local east of Mobile Bay to Ft. Walton Harbor, PM me and I'll share what I know.

Quite true, but my hurricane hole now is the trailer. The ones I would share either aren't known or are big enough to accommodate you and others, and being local you have a head start.

When will someone make a $10000 submarine, to let us sink away from a hurricane? I am half serious.. . . . . I do think going upriver 100 miles is a perfect defense, 50 in a pinch, I however am stuck at Houston so there is no great river to go 50, can only go sideways and try to outguess the hurricane
