I am toying with the Idea of installing A/C in my 1981 Hunter 33.. I was going to try to install it through the plywood bulkhead at the rear of the rear port quarterberth ( behind the nav station). Sears has a very small window unit with a remote control that should allow you to make adjustments from the gally or main cabin. The warm air should exhaust to the area under the cockpit and any excess moisture should drip into the bilge. Does anyone see why this $150 investnent wouldn't work.. at least at the dock with an abundant supply of 110V AC? Does anyone have experience using a small portable gas generator on board?Thanks..
