I'am installing air conditioning in a Catalina 30 1986. Just wondering if there is anyone who has done it and do they have pictures.

Sorry I don't have any pictures but on my 1984 Catalina 30, I have the main unit installed under the V-Berth. The return air vent is cut under the V-Berth to the port side. The duct used was a three inch round flexable type. I came through the bottom of the hanging locker, lost the bottom drawer but hinged the door front so nobody knows. The duct comes through the bottom of the bulk head, up in the locker and tees off in the upper cabinet. One side feeds the V-Berth and the other feeds the main cabin. Very clean and simple installation. Good AC coverage in the entire cabin. The condinsation drain hose is run into the head, close on the floor and down the drain into the bilge. Good luck.
