, i mentioned my iPad charger failure.
Do you have the original receipt ?

Call Apple's support phone and they may be able to send you a new replacement.

When you configured the iPad it has you create an Apple ID. You will need that and they should be able to send you one on warranty.

Worst case you can get a replacement when you hit a city with an Apple Store.

Catalina 24 Olney Springs
i am an 80 yr old that has decided i would not spend my last days watching day time TV. So i bought a new to me '85 O'Day 26 CB. will cruise the great loop, intercoastal waterways and inland rivers. as long as i can. It is a good boat for this even many think it is too small. I am just one person and a single hand sailor so i think it is just right. it is only 30 inch draft board up. and 34 foot air draft. I had a near new Tohatsu 25 " shaft 9.8 4 stroke with 4 blade high torque prop I put on it. Boat has roller furl also. I t seems like perfect to me. I just bought an ipad and downloaded AquaMap app. and the inland and coastal charts. i still am getting use to her and putting my regs numbers on. I am still figuring out how to put the headsail on the roller furl as i never had anything but hank on before on severl boats from 30 ' to 22'. I am also still checking out how to get it out of the marina and creek into the ICW at Tuckerton New Jersey. It is aready a great fun adventure. i am bare foot, with sore muscles that have not been used in a while, and having a great time. Good bye shore people and all your BS and disfunction. jimmy
You sir are a man after my own heart. I am 65. Had a TBI from lack of oxygen and can no longer work. I am going out of my mind.
I too have decided to spend my remaining time sailing. I have worked on hundreds of boats but never had one of my own.
I have family and friends on both coasts so I am looking for a trailer sailor. I very much like the Catalina 25. I am only 5ft3in. LOL
I really like the idea of an rv I can drop in the water and plain on zig zaging my way back and forth between the two coasts. Lots of rivers and lakes between the two.
All the best to you Jimmy, Ill keep am eye out for you, Shadowwalker

O'Day 26 CB New Orleans
Shadow, good show, I had a catalina25 swing keel before this O’Day 26. They are good boats I did the first leg of the loop on it a couple of years ago. From Paris landing Tenn to Mobile. I ran into trouble when some sort of heart miss timing caused me to have a series of small strokes. They took me off under extrem protest. Well now on meds to keep all in tune I am determined to go it again. I just bought this O’Day26 CB. It is a bit taller in the cabin and with the center board up only draws 30 inches. One thing I have learned is for inland and coastal cruising the shallower draft the better. I did finally get a sea trail day sailing a couple of days ago. I found a few rigging details I will change. Lead the main halyard aft and install a winch for it. With the fuller headsail both can then handled from the cockpit. The best for a solo sailer. The other must add are stops on the main sheet car track. That slamming back and forth is to much. Also need Jiffy reef line rigged in the main. The hardware is there just no line.
Anyway good luck to you, take my word for it a sail boat will improve your life. Regards, jimmy

O'Day 26 Onset, MA
Great bunch of salty guys here. Thanks for the positive vibes as they say. i am a little confused by conflicting specs on the mast height. the seller said it was a little over 35. sailboat data said 34. The seller who i do not trust to be accurate liked to say the boat was a "rare special model, not a regular 26 CB" but so far i find no separate specs for O'Day 26 CB.
Tie a line to your mainsail halyard and once you have that all the way up, tape the bottom of the line you attached where it meets the deck/top of cabin. I have a "normal" 26' nothing unique with regards to manufacturing or anything. Let me know if you have any questions.
