Hi all, Merry X-mas. I have a ? on type of adhesive to use for a project. I am thinking of making a companionway hatch "garage" , I will call it. It will be oak and teak, and will cover the front 3/4s of my hatch. The existing hatch will slide inside, to the point its fully open. It will cover my existing hatch, see pics, its for the front hatch, I had better pics of the aft hatch. My ? is, waht type of adhesive/caulk should I use, I am going to pull it down with screws from the inside of the salon cieling. I am afraid of 5200 as I may have to some day remove it, however I would like it to keep water out from under. Maybe, "Maines" Bed-It Tape we use for deck fixtures?? Anybody have a thought..The one pic of the front hatch, its off as i was trying to seal up some leaks at the time. Thanks Red
