Has anyone put a cockpit drain in the forward area of the H23 cockpit? As you know, when the boat sits on the trailer over the winter, the bow is slightly lower. Some water collects in the cockpit after a rain. My plan is to put a Tee in the "flexable" hose that leads from the drain in the back of the cockpit, and put a new cockpit drain in the forward area of the cockpit. I would run a hose back to the Tee. Has anyone done this to the H23? I did the same thing on my previous boat, an American 17 (If anyone has seen this boat they will know what I am talking about.) It had a very poorly designed cockpit with a built in cooler compartment that could not drain. The built in cooler would fill with water and leak into the cabin of the boat, which then caused dry rot problems. Obviously Hunter is far more advanced than that boat, but I think it would be convenient to not have to bail the boat in the spring. Any comments. Thanks in advance.Bill Leathen
